One of many phrases the British use that has yet to gain wide usage here in their former colonies is "who is he when he's at home?," referring to a person's true nature. UK-based photographer Steve Schofield seems to be answering that question with his "Land of the Free" series of portraits, most of which feature some obviously dedicated British sci-fi fans.While you'd assume they "dressed up" for their photos, I have a feeling more than a few wear their costumes on a fairly regular basis. By which I mean every single minute possible. There are even a couple of family shots of Trekkies (or "Trekkers" if you insist), refuting the widely held belief that they're incapable of breeding.
